Video Books FAQ
Can I upload videos to video books?
Yes, you can. Simply connect your video book to a computer (Mac or PC) using the included micro USB cable. The video book functions like a thumb drive, allowing you to drag and drop your videos onto it effortlessly. Once the upload is complete, safely eject the USB drive, and your videos will automatically play whenever you open the book.
What is the best resolution for The Motion Books?
We recommend encoding your videos at a resolution of up to 1080p, with a frame rate of up to 30 frames per second, and a bitrate between 2-8 Mbps (2000-8000 Kbps). Please note that 4K video files are not compatible with the device. If you encounter any issues please email us at: info@liumyalbums.com
How is it charged?
Your video book charges using a standard micro USB cable, which is included with the device. It takes approximately one hour to fully recharge.
Is it possible to format The Motion Books?
Do NOT format your video book. Formatting the device will erase the custom software and disable the unique features we’ve designed for you. It will also void your warranty. To free up memory or remove files, simply drag the files you wish to delete into the trash and then empty the trash.
What file formats are compatible with The Motion Books?
Most standard video file formats will work on your device (MOV, MP4, MPEG and AVI etc.). If you encounter issues (like NO FILES FOUND displayed on the screen) please contact us at: info@liumyalbums.com
What is the maximum video length supported?
With our recommended file settings, you can load over 2 hours of video, depending on the file size. However, for the best viewing experience, we suggest keeping videos to a maximum of 10 minutes.
How to organize your videos.
To organize your videos on Video Books, you can rename the files alphabetically or add numbers at the beginning of the file names to ensure they autoplay in your preferred order.
Ensure your video book is always ready to play!
While the battery lasts approximately 4 hours during video playback and up to 12 months on standby, we know your family and friends will love your unique video presentation. To ensure it's ready for big gatherings and events, keep your video book charged in advance.
Skipping Forward and Backward.
You can not only skip to the next or previous videos but also fast forward through a video by pressing and holding the next (or previous) button. This will begin fast-forwarding the video.
