FAQ ▸

What size instant photo guest book should I choose?

Choosing the right guest book depends mostly on your guest count and how many instant photos you want to include.

Most wedding guests take photos as couples or in small groups, so one photo usually represents 2–4 guests.

Which album size is best for your guest count?

Up to 40 guests → H1 Horizontal Album (20 pages, 1 photo per page)
40–80 guests → H1 Horizontal Album (30–40 pages)
80–140 guests → V2 Vertical Album or H2 Horizontal Album
140–250 guests → Q4 or V4 formats
250+ guests → Large Square Q4 Album

Larger formats are perfect for:

wedding guest messages,
Polaroid or Instax photos,
anniversary celebrations,
baby shower guest books,
memory books with handwritten wishes.

All Liumy Albums guest books are handmade and designed specifically for instant photography and personalized wedding memories.

Which album format is best?

Horizontal Album (23 × 17 cm / 9″ × 6.7″)

Best for:

intimate weddings,
smaller celebrations,
minimalist layouts.

We recommend:

1 photo per page for elegant spacing,
up to 80 guests.

If you plan to fit 2 photos per page, the layout becomes tighter.

Vertical Album (23 × 33 cm / 9″ × 13″)

Best for:

medium to large weddings,
Instax guest books,
guests writing longer wishes.

The vertical format offers significantly more writing space and works beautifully with 2 photos per page.

Square Album (28 × 29 cm / 11″ × 11.4″)

Best for:

luxury wedding guest books,
larger celebrations,
2–4 photos per page,
long handwritten messages.

This is our most spacious and popular format for personalized wedding albums.

What instant cameras work with Liumy guest books?

Liumy guest books are designed to work perfectly with most popular instant cameras, including:

Fujifilm Instax Mini
Fujifilm Instax Wide

Are Liumy Albums handmade?

Yes — every Liumy Album is individually handcrafted in Europe using premium materials and traditional bookbinding techniques.

Unlike mass-produced photo books, each album is:

hand sewn,
carefully assembled by hand,
customized for every customer,
made in small batches with attention to detail.

This makes every guest book unique and personal.

Can I fully customize the album?

Yes, you can customize:

cover color,
lettering color,
names or text,
album format,
page count,
layout type.

If you cannot find the color combination you want, contact us at info@liumyalbums.com and we will help create a custom combination.

Is this a good wedding gift?

Absolutely. Liumy Albums are often chosen as:

wedding gifts,
anniversary gifts,
engagement presents,
baby memory books,
personalized keepsakes.

The albums are designed to preserve real memories, instant photos, and handwritten messages in one timeless place.

Can I order a blank guest book without slip-in pages?

Yes, we can create albums with completely blank pages for:

traditional guest books,
photo scrapbooks,
baby memory books,
travel albums,
custom DIY projects.

Blank page albums also allow attaching photos on both sides of the page.

Can I use both sides of the page for instant photos?

Slip-in guest books are designed for photos on one side of the page only.

If you would like to place photos on both sides, we recommend choosing a blank-page album and attaching photos with stickers or adhesive corners.

What paper do you use? Is it acid-free?

Yes — we use premium quality acid-free paper designed for long-lasting memory preservation. Our page paper is Munken Pure 240 gsm, a top-quality paper with a beautiful slightly warm natural tint that gives the album an elegant and timeless look.

Acid-free paper helps prevent yellowing over time, so your wedding guest book and memories stay beautiful for many years.

What pens work best for writing in the guest book?

You can use almost any regular pen for writing in the guest book, including:

ballpoint pens,
gel pens,
fine liners,
permanent markers.

The paper is thick and high quality, so most pens work beautifully without issues.

We also offer our own pens in the shop, specially selected to work perfectly with Liumy Albums guest books.

Colors ▸

Color disclaimer.

Actual colors may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the product.

Please keep in mind that if you're purchasing the same color items at different times there may be some color differences. This happens because items may be manufactured from different dye lots and the shade may differ due to natural qualities.

Note: Don’t mistake the color name to be what you may think that color should be. Example, just because a color may have the name Biscuit, it does not mean it will necessarily look like what most people would consider being a Biscuit color. Furthermore, different brands may use the same color name for different color names.
